Bullitt Mobile, which has the global licence to make Cat phones for Caterpillar, has today announced that its Cat B15 durable and rugged smartphone is available on Amazon.co.uk for £299.
Dave Floyd, director of technology at Bullitt Mobile said the tough phone boasts all the necessary features and functions to withstand an outdoor and adventurous lifestyle.
“It is capable of surviving a 1.8 metre drop, being submerged in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes, offers the functionality to use the 4-inch multi-touch screen with wet fingers, as well as being dustproof and scratch resistant,” he added.
Floyd said that at £299 the phone will appeal to a diverse audience, from outdoor adventurers and industrial or construction workers, to anyone who needs a phone that withstands dropping, knocking, water and dust.
The device is protected by silver anodized aluminium and shock absorbent rubber, reinforcing its durability and enabling a 1.8m drop without breaking.
